Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to win 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles together with her siblings Adria as well as her brother Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents of Houston. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles earned a silver in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to the level of elite competition in the year 2011. In just two short years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles stood out for her consistently consistent and having a lively and energetic personality and incorporating the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions vaulting uneven bar floor exercises.
