Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She was the country's love interest when she won the American Idol title in the first season of the show. It was not just the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson into the limelight, it also landed her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. In the years since the win, she's released a variety recordings from her studio. In these albums that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while others were only one centimeter away. They consider her to be one of the greatest success American Idol artists. She experimented as she gained recognition for her diverse musical and theme style, and often wrote songs of her own. In recognition of her talent and distinctiveness, she's been rewarded with a variety of accolades as well as awards. The most notable accomplishment is the fact that she was awarded the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has been featured in movies and television shows. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
