Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress well-known for her work in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum, a Malayalam film, was her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is born to a Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister living and working in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research Assistant. Jeremiah was born within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was an avid enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano when she was eight. In her twenties, she became an active member of the group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. She worked as an actor at her college and was a part of in a variety of plays staged in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM as well as other theatre companies. She was President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. The actress acted in the new leo commercial for coffee alongside actor Shiva in 2006. She also was a part-time actress in a show that was shown on Podhigai. She's performed on stage in India. There was a brief appearance for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham A. Menon invited her after she had performed in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as a lead character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in the film which is a remake of the novel by James Siegel. Her husband takes part in an affair with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play the character following the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. Released in Early 2010. She agreed in 2011 to play a minor support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was premiered in August of 2011. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's love film Annayum Rasoolum.
