Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro OcasioRuiz (born 10 January 1993) is professionally known as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. He is referred to as the "King of Contemporary Reggaeton",[2][3the singer is part of "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. [4] His debut album, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in the month of November in 2020. The second album of his studio Vice Versa, which debuted in June 2021. It featured the lead track "Todo de Ti". From 12 nominations, the singer has won two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ruiz who is a Latin Grammy Award winner, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1993. He was also raised in Canovanas as well as Carolina. [4][5] His father was a guitarist Raul Ocasio, and his mother, backing vocalist Maria Nelly Ruiz, introduced to some of his music influences, including Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson as well as Chris Brown. 6. After graduating from high school, Alejandro began his studies at the University of Puerto Rico. He played soccer from six to twenty-five. However, he decided to stop playing because he didn't perform in the manner he wanted to. When he was 20, he suffered an injury. Then he moved to Orlando in hopes of being selected by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro is known for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop. Billboard noted that it's helped "set him apart from a growing class of reggaetones who lean towards pop". He was influenced early on by Presley and Jackson, and later by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, as well as Chris Brown. [24He also cites Ciara as his musical inspiration.
